Kerala Association of Greater Washington (KAGW) has been actively involved in community outreach programs towards the betterment of the community we live in and also in supporting charity initiatives around Washington metro area and in our homeland, Kerala.KAGW has regularly organized Charity initiatives like community blood drive, Adopt a road program, SOME (So Others Might Eat), SAMAR (South Asian Marrow Association of Recruiters), Soup Kitchens for shelter-less etc where KAGW members give back to the community. KAGW is actively involved in supporting humanitarian and charitable causes and mobilizing funds for assistance to the distressed and deserving in North America and back in India.
KAGW traditionally has been offering financial aid to our members in need and also to our less fortunate countrymen back in India, especially in Kerala. The funds usually come fromvoluntary donations from KAGW members. 100% of the donated amount to KAGW goes directly to charity without incurring any administrative expenses.
