This year marks a truly special milestone for the Kerala Association of Greater Washington (KAGW) — 50 years of community, culture, and connection. Established in 1975, KAGW has grown from a small group of passionate Malayalees into a vibrant, multi-generational community that continues to celebrate Kerala’s rich heritage while embracing the future with vision and unity.

Join us on Kerala Piravi Day, November 1st, as we honor this golden journey with an elegant Dinner Gala at the OLPH Banquet Hall. This memorable evening will bring together past and present leaders, members, families, and friends to reflect on our shared legacy and look ahead to an exciting new chapter.

Evening Highlights:

A retrospective look at KAGW’s 50-year journey
Tributes to founding members, long-time volunteers, and community leaders
Cultural performances celebrating Kerala’s art and music
Formal Dinner featuring a variety of classic and flavorful cuisines
Presentation of KAGW’s vision and plans for the coming years

As we celebrate this historic occasion, we also reaffirm our commitment to nurturing our community, preserving our cultural roots, and creating meaningful opportunities for growth and engagement in the years to come.

Let’s come together to honor the past, celebrate the present, and shape the future — as one KAGW family.
