On Saturday, February 15 th the KAGW Sports team held the 5 th annual CHECKMATE tournament at the Carderock Elementary School. Around 50 participants across 4 categories took part in the tournament which continues to evolve and grow into fun filled event for chess enthusiasts within our community.
